Gilgeous-Alexander's performance, marked by 8-of-19 shooting from the field and 11-of-13 from the free-throw line, propelled the Thunder to a commanding lead before exiting the game with 3:26 remaining and the Thunder up 111-89.

In contrast, Luka Doncic, also an MVP finalist, struggled with 19 points on 6-for-19 shooting and five turnovers. Reflecting on his performance, Doncic tersely remarked, "Who cares. We lost. We just got to move onto the next one. We've got to be better."

Lu Dort spearheaded the Thunder's defensive efforts, with contributions from rookie Cason Wallace and center Holmgren, limiting Doncic's impact.
