Bronny James Sidelined from Lakers’ 2nd California Classic Game Due to Left Knee Swelling

Bronny James did not participate in the Los Angeles Lakers' second California Classic game on Sunday due to swelling in his left knee. This decision came after he scored four points during his NBA Summer League debut the previous day.

The son of Lakers star LeBron James was visibly affected, sitting in uniform at the end of the bench in the first half against Golden State, with his left leg wrapped in white. He was observed adjusting the wrap a couple of times.

During Friday night's 108-94 loss to Sacramento, James shot 2 for 9 from the field, missing all three of his 3-point attempts, and grabbed two rebounds in 22 minutes of play.

James, drafted 55th overall by the Lakers after one season at the University of Southern California, continues to manage his condition under team supervision.
