Striker Richarlison has confirmed his desire to remain at Hotspur after rejecting a move to Saudi Arabia.

The 27-year-old Brazil forward joined Spurs from Everton in 2022 for a club-record fee of £60 million. Since his arrival, he has netted 15 goals in 66 appearances for the club, though he was not always a regular starter last season under manager Ange Postecoglou.

Richarlison, whose contract extends until 2027, has attracted interest from several clubs in Saudi Arabia, with one unnamed team reportedly making a bid. However, he has expressed his commitment to staying in to enhance his of continuing his international career with Brazil. "There has been an offer but my dream of playing for the Brazilian Selecao and in the Premier League speaks louder," Richarlison told ESPN Brazil.

In the meantime, Tottenham is actively seeking to bolster their attacking options this summer and has identified Bournemouth's Dominic Solanke as a potential target. Solanke, who scored 21 goals in 42 matches for Bournemouth last season, was not selected for England's Euro 2024 squad. The Cherries are eager to retain Solanke, who has a £65 million release clause in his contract, which has three years remaining. However, Tottenham values the striker at a lower price.
