Bayern Munich has strengthened its squad with the acquisition of from Crystal Palace, the Bundesliga club confirmed on Sunday.

The French winger completed his transfer after agreeing to a long-term contract with Bayern, set to expire in June 2029.

Crystal Palace has allowed Olise to depart following Bayern's payment of an initial £45 million, with an additional £5 million in potential add-ons, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The deal also includes a sell-on clause.

"I'm very happy to now be playing for such a big club," Olise expressed on Bayern's official website. "It's a great challenge, and that's exactly what I was looking for. I want to prove myself at this level and contribute to our team's success in winning as many titles as possible in the years ahead."

Reports from BBC Sport's Simon Stone indicate that despite interest from Chelsea and , Olise opted for Bayern to work under new manager Vincent Kompany.

During his three-year tenure at Crystal Palace, Olise amassed 90 appearances across all competitions. His standout season saw him record 10 goals and six assists in 19 games.

Olise was also selected by France for this summer's in Paris.
