Allen has been with the Cavaliers for the last three-and-a-half seasons after starting his NBA career with the Brooklyn Nets for over three years.

Last season, he achieved a career-high average of 16.5 points , along with 10.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists, while playing alongside emerging talent Evan Mobley. Additionally, he finished 10th in the voting for the Defensive Player of the Year award.
