Indiana Pacers Sign Andrew Nembhard to $59 Million Deal Over 3 Years
The Indiana Pacers have signed guard Andrew Nembhard to a three-year, $59 million contract extension, according to his agents speaking to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Pacers will reportedly decline Nembhard's $2.2 million team option for the 2025-26 season, allowing the new deal to commence next season, Wojnarowski adds.
Under the new contract, the 6-foot-5 guard will receive $18.1 million in the 2025-26 season, $19.6 million in 2026-27, and $21 million in the final year of the deal, as noted by ESPN's Bobby Marks.
Nembhard is coming off a standout performance in the postseason, where he averaged 14.9 points, 5.5 assists, and 3.3 rebounds, contributing significantly to the Pacers reaching their first Eastern Conference Final in a decade.
He is one of only four players in NBA history to shoot at least 45% from three-point range and 55% from the field overall in a single postseason, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
Nembhard was selected by Indiana with the 31st overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.
The 24-year-old guard is also set to represent Canada at the upcoming Olympics in Paris this summer.
