Real Madrid stalwart Nacho Fernandez has bid farewell to the club after a distinguished 23-year tenure, during which he amassed a total of 26 trophies, including six UEFA titles.

The 34-year-old Spaniard, who joined Madrid's youth academy at the age of 10, made 364 appearances for the senior team following his debut in 2012. His final was the 2-0 victory in this month's Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund, where he cemented his legacy as one of only five players to achieve six European Cup victories with the club.

Nacho, currently with the Spanish squad at Euro 2024, is set to embark on a new chapter with Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Qadsiah.

"After months of reflection, indecision, and doubts, I must pursue a final and distinctive experience with my family, and now is the perfect moment," Nacho stated. He holds 26 international caps for Spain.

Throughout his , Nacho also clinched four La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey trophies, five FIFA Club World Cups, four UEFA Super Cups, and five Spanish Super Cups with his sole senior club.
