Puskás Arena to Host 2026 Champions League Final
Uefa has announced that the 2026 Champions League final will take place at Budapest's Puskás Arena. The decision was made during Uefa's executive committee meeting held in Dublin on Wednesday.
Puskás Arena, with a capacity of 67,215 spectators, serves as the home stadium for the Hungary national team. It notably hosted four matches during Euro 2020 and staged the Europa League final between Sevilla and Roma last season.
The selection process for the host venue of the 2027 final has been delayed until September. Uefa is awaiting details from the Italian Football Federation regarding renovation plans for Milan's San Siro stadium.
In addition, Uefa confirmed that the 2026 Women's Champions League final will be held at Oslo's Ullevaal Stadion in Norway.
Besiktas Park in Istanbul, Turkey, has been chosen to host the 2026 Europa League final and the 2027 Europa Conference League final.
Germany will also host two finals: Stadion Frankfurt will host the 2027 Europa League final, while Leipzig's RB Arena will host the 2026 Europa Conference League final.
The men's final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund will be held at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, June 1st. Meanwhile, the women's final featuring Barcelona and Lyon will take place at San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao, Spain, on Saturday, May 25th.
Due to Germany already securing Uefa finals for 2026 and 2027, a new bidding process will be initiated for the host venue of the 2027 Women's Champions League final. Stuttgart's bid was not considered in the current selection process.
